All participants will not only immerse themselves in the beauty of Tims Thicket, but also get hands-on throughout the tour - cooking meals, lowering the tyre pressure, winching and whatever else your 4WD adventure may bring! This tour is fully interactive for all involved.

All trips require upfront payment, as NDIS reimburses respite hours after the activity. One support worker per NDIS participant is included in the costs, noting all support workers need to be approved by Keys4Adventure prior to the trip commencing.

What supports do I have access to?
The supports we provide are tailored to you and your requirements. You have the opportunity to discover something new about yourself on the adventure of a lifetime, whilst feeling secure and safe in every moment of the trip. We meet you in your needs, no matter what. Our team will get in touch prior to the trip to ensure all your requirements are understood, and your care plan on the trip accommodates them accordingly.
Can I bring my own 4WD?
Yes, absolutely! If you’re an NDIS participant or K4A-approved parent or guardian, you’re more than welcome to bring your own 4WD vehicle for the trip!
What does the full itinerary look like?
While every Tims Thicket adventure has its own unique moments to behold along the way, most tours look like this!
Friday Evening:
Drive from Perth to the Twin Waters Caravan Park in Mandurah:
Kick off your weekend adventure with a scenic drive to Mandurah, where you'll set up camp at Twin Waters Caravan Park.
Relax and Get to Know the Group:
Unwind and socialise with fellow adventurers in the peaceful campground setting.
Dinner at The Cut Tavern, Bar & Bistro:
Enjoy a delicious meal at a local favourite, The Cut Tavern, as you settle into the weekend’s adventure.
Saturday:
Drive to Tims Thicket:
Start the day with an exciting drive to the stunning coastal area of Tims Thicket.
A Day of Adventure and Relaxation:
The day is yours to explore! Choose from:
- Beach fishing
- 4-wheel driving across the sand dunes

Dinner and Marshmallow Toasting:
